Today in 1945 Nazi capitulation to the allied forces brought a declarative end to World War II. However, closure proved elusive. The overall Sachsenhausen narrative shows both the depth/length and limits of our ability to interact with history. We wanted to challenge the guided tour approach. Of course open access to information is paramount. However, physical and emotional embodiment practices secure these lessons as a lived experience. Then, today and always we strive to honor our ancestors by seeking clartity to the meanings of their legacies.
